[Read About Natural Cancer Care] Duke (A5466195) recently visited the private vet for biopsies on a couple of bumps. Duke's biopsies confirmed that those bumps are tumors- dermal hemangiosarcoma. The good news is this is a much less aggressive form of cancer, rarely spreading to other organs. This is common in pitbull type babies who love to sun bathe, especially short haired, white pups. They are considered sun damage spots and owners should limit sun exposure and use sun screen in the exposed hairless areas. Duke also had several little pre-cancer hemangiomas. Several of these spots were removed as well. Duke's prognosis is good overall and any future adopter should monitor Duke's skin, body scan for any new bumps, and use that SPF! Duke also had a Forever Young Senior Wellness Exam along with a dental cleaning! His teeth are squeaky clean and he has minty fresh breath! Duke is recommended to be in a home with children 12 +, although younger is possible, pending an introduction. Duke would also do well with a calm K9 companion or he would be content as your one & only ժ.
