About BRUCE

***NEEDS FOSTER or FUREVER HOME*** 1 year in Boise boarding kennels !!! This adorable boy, named BRUCE, is the sweetest and would love a family to call his own! He loves to go for walks, car rides and rolling in the grass. BRUCE is a handsome 4 year old Bull Terrier/American Staffy Terrier that just wants to be close to humans! He does well on a leash. He's very gentle. He doesn't pay any attention to the other dogs when he is brought through the kennels. He knows how to sit and he's very gentle taking treats. He is also house trained. He has some separation anxiety because of his past and shows hesitation when being returned to the kennels. BRUCE is car-friendly, but will try to snuggle a time or two while you are driving. BRUCE has shown us to be a good running partner. Volunteers have run him at least weekly to help prevent kennel stress. BRUCE likes the water. Recently, on a volunteer outing, he immediately fully entered the water, and seemed to want his handler to do the same. An ideal home for BRUCE would be: Active family with older kids or no kids and no cats that loves to give attention and affection to their dogs. BRUCE has been doing well with other dogs in a controlled, supervised environment, but enjoys being the 'King of the Castle'. Maybe one other dog his size would work.
