About Deione

Please be sure to have an adoption application on file prior to contacting us so we know if your family is a match at https://socalweimrescue.org/pages/adoption-application Deione came to us from an owner who adopted him and his real sister littermate hoping they would be cuddlemates. As they grew out of the early puppy stage, Deione's sister became very protective of their human mom and started beating up on him. It got to the point it wasn't fun anymore and Deione started getting bitten almost to the point of breaking the skin. He is a happy playful 11 month old (DOB 12/6/21) and it just wasn't working out for the entire family. Because the original intention was for them to adopt a female, Deione was the one surrendered to us simply because he is a boy. He gets along with other dogs, kids that he can't knock over and YES, even cats! He still needs a little leash work and will pull until he gets going. He needs a few manners but all in all is adorably cute, fun and very active. He is currently fostered in the Glendora area of California....come meet him! You will fall in love with this handsome boy! Note: in trial adoptive home for a few days.
