About Wellies

Baby in a big boy body. Wellies is scared and tries to act tough when the kennel door is closed but he instantly turns mushy once we open it. Wellies is such a nice dog. It was pretty clear that wanted to be loved but was nervous about asking for it. He dealt with his nerves by giving us low tail wags and random licks. He wasn't ready to take our treats but after a few circles around the lot, he did accept our comfort and affection. Wellies scooted close and let us pet him. He's got that puppy pudge and soft fur that makes it hard to stop petting him. Wellies most adorable attribute has to be the side lip squish. It took all our might not to smooch his smoochable face.
