About Tiny

Meet Tiny!! Tiny is a 9 week old male Rottweiler, Pitbull mix and is now available for adoption!! Semi special needs baby! This sweet boy has been through a lot. If you remember he came to us at 5 weeks old, incredibly under nourished and on the verge of death. He was less than a pound, riddled with worms, emaciated, and anemic. With a lot of TLC and the right nutrition he is finally where he should be for his age! He has come along way in the past month. Now that he is a big healthy boy we are looking for the best home ever for him! His amazing foster did a DNA test on him and it turns out he is a Rottie Pit Bull mix who is about 9 weeks old. He is going to be a big boy indeed with an estimate weight of 55-90lbs! He is friendly and goofy and loves everyone and everything he meets. He likes cats, and dogs and kids. He is running like the wind and still loves to have his belly rubbed! Due to Tiny's rough start in life his eyes have permanent damage. If you remember when we got him, he appeared to be neurological. This was nothing the case and it was actually his eyes causing him to lose balance and wobble. His neuro symptoms have significantly improved, but he does have uveitis in his right eye. This explains why he walks strangely, seems to turn his head while he is walking and doesn't focus or track items that are far away. The doctors best guess for this is is that this was caused by mom being sick and undernourished while pregnant. Although Tiny can see, he has scaring in one eye which causes him to have some depth perception issues in his one eye. His Iris in that eye is misshapen and cloudy and will probably be like that forever. Long-term, it's possible he will be susceptible to cataracts easier, but it should not effect him otherwise. Tiny is the best puppy! He is crate trained and does not have accidents in the house. He is sweet and snuggly and so much fun.
