About Penny

Courtesy post This baby was saved by Toni last week from someone who sold her for $40 :( Toni sent us a plea for help: 'I felt like she would die if I didn't take her from the person. I have two dogs of my own. They are not socialized and it has been difficult keeping them separate. I don't want to see her go into the wrong hands.' She was in pretty rough shape, nails so long she could barely stand and you could see every bone in her body. She appears to be young, thought to be about a year old. She is unaltered and unvetted at this time. She has named her Penny. Toni says she is 'house broken. Doesn't seem to be dog aggressive, or reactive but would probably be best as a only pet. Very sweet demeanor. Laid back, eager to please. Listens very well. The crate seems to be her safe space. Loves treats, cuddles, rolling in the grass playing with her toys.'
