About Ponyboy

Ponyboy got his name because he's, well, the size of a small pony! But don't let his size deter you - he's so, so gentle, easy to to walk, well-behaved and mild-mannered! Ponyboy knows basic commands and takes treats oh-so gently. We just LOVE gentle giants like Ponyboy. He likes to play with soft toys but what he likes more than playing is pets and scratches. Ponyboy craves human attention. He's done well meeting other dogs on leash (though he's usually most focused on going potty on the few times he gets out per week- we think this golden boy is potty trained) and he's been great with all of the volunteers that have handled him. Ponyboy is clearly a well-trained dog who lived in a home, and we are hopeful he can get right back into a home where he'll continue to live his best life.
