About Honeycomb

Honeycomb's story isn't filled with gooey sweetness. It is a sad tale with a lot of unknowns. She was found tied up behind an animal hospital. That's all we know about where she came from. Honeycomb was someone's dog. She had a harness and a muzzle on that were fitted to her, but no one has come to claim her. Honeycomb's ears are so inflamed and most of her hair is gone behind them from scratching. She needed medical care, hopefully that is why she was left were at a vet. Honeycomb is a talker from her kennel but easy in and out. She moves at a nice pace, not too fast and not too slow. Honeycomb does a lot of searching outside and wasn't interested in our toys or treats. She is fine with petting but we have to come to her. Honeycomb is not a shelter dog, her life before was in a home and that's where she belongs. Come meet Honeycomb at the CACC shelter in Chicago!
