About Ebony

Atlanta, GA and surroundings. Let me introduce you to Ms. Ebony. She is an adorable 1 year and 10 months old staffy. She was abandoned by her previous owner last year and have been with us since December. My family and I have given her all the love we can, however, we are international doctoral students with children and cannot give her all the attention and care she needs. We also have to travel constantly and the expenses of taking a pet with us are out of our budget. Ebony is spayed, microshipped and up to date on her vaccinations. She suffered neglect and therefore needs training. She is protective of her home and does not like to be petted by strangers. She also likes to go her own way when she goes for walks, she is a little (but strong) puller. She loves to play with other dogs (big and small), but has never lived with cats. She behaves very well with children. We would love for her to be adopted by a loving home, with experienced caregivers and a large backyard to go out and play with her new owners. Ebony is quite energetic, but once she is content she can sleep for many hours at home. We decided to do the adoption process directly ourselves because we had a bad experience with a rescue. Rehoming fee: 40 We will make an appointment to meet the new owners and check out her new home before placing her for adoption. We want to make sure her new family understands that there is an adjustment process for any new dog that can take from two to three months.
