About Newton

Newton is a 1YO Tennessee Tree Brindle who came into the shelter as a stray on 7/13/22. He weighs 42 lbs. Newton is a quiet and very timid boy, who didn't come into the shelter with much excitement. It's clear he's not used to being around people much�'�|but strangely enough he came in wearing a brand new ill-fitting harness but no tags or identification. Someone had to put that harness on him - but no owner has come forward looking for him. Newton is a shy boy who needs time to warm up to new people. With lots of patience and encouragement he'll come around. He's still scared of the leash, but is slowly making progress with that as well. What this boy really needs is a fresh start in a home that is quiet and calm - just like him!
