About Poppy

Poppy is a sweet, quiet, , middle-aged gal who's seen a lot in her 5 or so years on this planet, and you can see that in her sad eyes. Her elderly owner passed away, and she wound up in a high-kill shelter in Texas, as no family members wanted her. She was terrified there, and in great danger of being killed for space, so I became aware of her plight and decided to spring her, and get her safe to my home in Upstate NY. ( Can transport her a good ways out for the right home)- She is a very easy dog to have. She is happy with a nice walk, a good meal, and someone she can sit nearby on the couch and be your pal while you read or watch t.v. A quiet home with a older person, would be ideal, as that is what she is used to., and would fit her energy level. Also, previous dog experience is required.
