About Whisper

Hey everyone, I took in a dog from some friends of mine a couple weeks ago, and unfortunately due to landlord restrictions I am unable to keep her in my apartment. Additionally, the nature of my job at the moment is not really conducive to having a pet as I have to travel so much. I am needing to find a new home for her as soon as possible. Her name is Whisper and she is a very sweet 5 year old, female Pit Bull mix. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations (will need boosters for DA2PP and Bordetella in a couple weeks). She has lived in a household with other dogs and cats before, but is a bit anxious around new animals she hasn't met before and would need introduced to them gradually with supervision. She is really good around people including adults, kids and strangers, and is very loving and affectionate towards them, and she is a big cuddler. She is both house trained and crate trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, come, and on/off furniture. I think an ideal home for Whisper would be in a single pet household, but given enough time and special attention I think she could adapt to living with other furry friends as well. Her best qualities include her playfulness, she loves long walks, runs and hikes, and is very friendly towards other people. She is currently located with me in Campbell, CA, but I would be willing to travel for a meet and greet if needed.
