About Sierra

Sierra was found as a stray in a neighborhood and had been there for a week. The neighbors were feeding her and she appeared very pregnant; however, after taking her to the vet for xrays to see how many pups we were looking at, we learned she had just eaten a large meal prior to my arrival and vet xrays showed she was not pregnant afterall! haha thank GOD. My rescue picked her up and vetted her. She actually went in to be spayed when it was learned that she had a tick disease that prevented her from clotting very well and so her spay had to be postponed and she was put on antibiotics for 3 weeks and then it was rescheduled. She is doing well and has recovered from her spay surgery. Sweet but doesn't like to share her food etc with other dogs and is snappy at meal times so everyone is fed separately. She is located in Amarillo Texas and you can email for additional pictures and video. We have an adoption process and we do not transport. We require an approved adopter to pick up. She does nip a little bit when you play with her so needs to learn boundaries and probably should be placed with older kids but she is super sweet and deserves a better life than she had. She also has a perfect black heart shape on her left side :)
