We are really heartbroken but we have to rehome our Jessie. He is a fixed 2 year old pit/lab mix we think. We got him a little over a year ago and we have tried everything we can but we don't feel safe with him around our baby anymore. He is a really sweet dog and loves to cuddle and play. However, he has some aggression issues towards our other male and female dogs. He has starting attacking them for no reason and we don't feel safe with him around our baby that is going to start crawling soon. He is food aggressive sometimes as well with other dogs and cats. We have tried different trainings but nothing is working. 'ۢHe needs to be the only dog. He's okay with cats but he likes to chase them and bark at them. 'ۢHe is crate trained and knows some commands: sit, high five, paw, gentle 'ۢHe doesn't do well in the car 'ۢHe needs lots of room to run, someone who can take him on walks/runs, no kids, and someone who's experienced with dogs. Pretty much just someone who can give him all your attention. 'ۢHe loves to chew on bones, play fetch, and eat ice cubes. 'ۢHe barks at new people and has a harder time adjusting to men, but is super loving once he's comfortable. 'ۢHe is not up to date of shots but we can get him up to date with a 250 rehoming fee. We are asking 125 for a rehoming fee so we know he's going to a good home. 'ۢWe will also do a home check and a couple meetings with you to make sure he's comfortable with you before taking him home. 'ۢHe will come with his favorite blanket and we can let you know of the food he eats. He hates thunderstorms but loves ice cubes. He is a wonderful, loving, and sweet dog but he just needs the right home that he can thrive in. If a rescue is able to find a foster home for him then we won't require a fee.
