About Ophelia

Ophelia is a 8 year old chihuahua who weighs about 15 pounds. She is considered a senior dog. At the shelter, she has become everyone's friend. She loves to hang out in the volunteer office and greet new comers. She was lucky enough to spend some time in a foster home and her foster Mom says she is extremely social with people and dogs. She quickly became part of the pack of 3 other dogs in her foster home. Ophelia loves to cuddle and sit in your lap. She walks nicely on leash and rides well in the car. She is easy to train and knows the cue Sit. She is very food motivated to learn new things. Ophelia is a low energy dog who is quiet and calm in the house. She has an outgoing personality and can be playful. She is still working on potty training which is something a trainer can help with. Ophelia is a delightful little dog who will make a wonderful companion. The adoption fee is $95, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County.
