About Lenny

I rescued Lenny off the streets almost 3 years ago. I love him dearly, but our lifestyles are no longer compatible. Lenny needs 1 human who is home most of the time (although he can be alone for up to 10 hours per day) and possible has another small to medium playful dog. It takes him a long time to warm up to new people and likes to be right beside his owner at all times. He has shown behaviors that indicate that he is protective of his owner and his possessions. He is happy to share his food and toys with the right dog. His ideal home would not have many new visitors and have a spot where he can lay in the sun. He loves riding in the car, fetching ball, and taking 2-3 short walks per day. He has no known medical issues and has had a full tooth cleaning since I've had him. During this procedure, the vet estimated him to be 7-9 years which would make him 9 or 10 now.
