Meet Rosemary Another MAS Survivor (Memphis Animal Shelter) Available for Adoption 2 yrs old, 45 lbs Cutie Pie! Rosemary LOVES being with her people, very affectionate and snuggly, pretty low energy - loves to lay on pillows, couches, laps, etc., very gentle taking treats, etc., responds well to verbal correction, voluntarily crates at night and sleeps through the night, is starting to spend time in crate in daytime (short periods) with no fuss, loves toys, sweet temperament, and wants human attention but isn't too pushy/annoying about it, she likes playing with the other dogs - chase, tug, etc. but sometimes plays a little too ruff. Rosemary does NOT like horseplay/running/of any kind- even when teenagers played basketball in pool - she was VERY upset, same with her foster's girls swimming/splashing, working hard on her potty training, she is mouthy - and has very strong- she will be gentle if reminded, plays rough with other dogs and needs help understanding/respecting their boundaries, even if the other dog is growling a warning. She's gotten out of the fence - BUT - she does not want to be away from her people. We think she smelled a deer (incredible sniffer on this dog) and got out...but stuck close to the house. Oh, and she is very terrified of the vacuum and blower. In her defense she is a quick learner as she hasn't been out of the high kill shelter a full week. Her foster family is already seeing a difference, as she wants to please. She's a medium sized beauty. If you're interested in getting to know Rosie by first fostering her, please let us know.
