This is a Neutered Male Yorkie/Mix approximately 12 years old. I found him in abandoned in the desert with another companion. He is a very sweet and loving little boy. He is very mellow and calm. He gets along with other dogs. He is potty trained. He is very good at letting you know he has to go out to potty. We believe he was dumped in the desert because he is older and is starting to need necessary medical care and attention. Unfortunately that happens in the high desert a lot. We have taken him to the Vet and got him a full comprehensive check up, blood work, urine test, fecal exam, and has gotten all his necessary shots. He does need a very good teeth cleaning since his dental was neglected. Due to the neglect of his teeth he does have kidney issues. According to the vet he still has 25% of his kidney function but with the appropriate kidney diet/food he can still have a good quality of life and can live for a few more years. Especially since everything else in his blood work was normal. He will get his teeth cleaned for that will make a big difference in his health. He does have slight arthritis in his shoulders but doesn't seem to bother him. We have started him on a kidney diet. We will make sure that he gets any necessary treatment first before he goes to his new home. This sweet and precious boy just needs to find that special person that is willing to give him a second chance to live out the rest of his beautiful life in a loving, caring, and stable home. He needs to find someone to be willing to be committed to buy his necessary food and care. In exchange for unconditional Love and Companionship.
