About Capone

Capone is approximately 1 1/2 years old. I picked him up in June 2021 after watching him get dumped by another car. I was told his name, his breed, and that he was 14 weeks. I thought we would live happily ever after, but unfortunately due to my health I am not able to care for him the way he needs. He is affectionate and loves to cuddle. He is very playful with other dogs and could go all day long. He has been calm around cats and toddlers, but pretty energetic around children and adults. He been food/toy aggressive/possessive, especially with another male dog that was in the home. He will snarl at people when he is disturbed or touched while resting/asleep. He will not bite, but the snarl is enough to startle. It would be best to work with a trainer to manage this, but we currently have a rule that in the evening we don't pet him unless he asks for it since he is more likely to be tired during this time.
