Are you looking for tons of fun in a small package and ears that can recieve signals from Mars? Well, here's Riley! Riley is a petite, pitbull who only weighs about 40-45 pounds and is just under two years old. She's great with other dogs and has all the energy she needs to be your hiking buddy or back yard ball chaser! Riley loves everyone she meets and is always up for a new adventure! She's sending out signals via her ear waves for a happy, fun loving family to make her dreams of a furEVER home come true! Riley is another one of the dogs we recently got from a shelter in Va that is killing almost everyone as soon as their hold is up! We have been putting in rescue offers 'of last resort' for all the dogs we can. That means, if another rescue will take them.....great! If not, we are the safety net that saves their lives! We sure are glad we stepped up to save this happy girl! Augusta Dog Adoptions is an all- volunteer, foster- based rescue. We take applications online and are scheduling individual adoptions in the Waynesboro, VA . A $175.00 adoption fee ($300 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.
