About Lucky

We adopted Lucky from Turkey and she is a beautiful dog, but the foster family in Turkey did not give us accurate information on her being able to successfully live with other dogs and young kids and therefore we need to let her go. She plays well with kids and dogs and adults, but resource guards around food and has a trigger than may well be possible to train out and we would be willing to do so would it not be for the immediate potential harm to our other dogs and children. The guarding around food can lead to aggressive outbursts against the other dogs, we feed separately and keep food away but it is not always possible in a family home. She has a sweet and beautiful soul and for a family without kids or dogs would be an absolutely wonderful companion, one who walks beautifully on a lead and interacts nicely with dogs and people she meets on walks. We are devastated to be giving her up but cannot go on in this situation.
