About Lumen

Lumen has an inner light. It still shines bright even after the world has been unkind to him. He came to us dirty and with some ouchies. Specifically the one around his neck that is so raw it still bleeds from where a collar (or worse) dug into his neck for extended periods of time. He has some other minor injuries on other parts of his body but the neck looks to be the freshest and most painful. Lumen smiles through it all. He's eager to leave his kennel and happy simply hanging out with us in the yard. Lumen sits on command but would accept our treats (at first). He is comfortable with all over handling, even when we are forcing him to take a picture that he seems to really not like doing. Maybe he doesn't understand how cute his polar bear look is. Well we do! Lumen doesn't ask for much from us but gives a lot in return. It's time the world treats Lumen and all the other good dogs with love and kindness.
