About Buddy

This super-sized, squishy guy is Buddy! Buddy is a 1.5-year-old, 90lb, goofy guy that is looking for his happily ever after and we're hoping that will be you! Buddy first came to the shelter as a stray. Shortly after his arrival, he became a part of the shelter family and was promoted to an office. (Kennel life did not agree with him and boy did he let us know. Haha!) He was super pumped about his new digs, especially since he got to have an office mate! Buddy's a pretty social guy and he LOVES to be with people. Buddy is the type of dog that will be your best friend for life, given the opportunity. He is full of love, affection, and energy! He loves his people, and he loves them hard! Buddy does have some anxiety and spent 2 weeks with a 100% positive based trainer that helped him work through/cope/manage some of this anxiety. (He also has one post-adoption training class with this same trainer as part of his adoption). Straight from board and train, Buddy found his way into the home and hearts of his foster family. He has exceeded expectations in a calm home setting. They just adore him and love his silly personality. But, his situation here is only temporary and we are hoping to find this guy his forever home so he never has to experience shelter life again. An older teen home or adult only home would be quite suitable for this big, beautiful boy. He would do best as an only dog as he is dog reactive. He is available in Manchester, NH for meet n greets.
