About Marlowe

Hi there, I'm Marlowe. I'm a 3 y/o hound mix and I weigh 65 lbs. I love dogs and I will play until the sun goes down, but I am timid around new humans. I like going for walks and sniffing all of the different smells and I'm a good girl during car rides. Since I am still getting used to people, small children are too unpredictable for me and I would do best in a home with older kids who understand my timid nature and will give me space when I need it. I also can't live with kitties because I will chase them. But, if you have dogs sign me up! I love dogs of all shapes and sizes and will happily burn off my energy playing all day. I'm very food motivated. If you leave anything on the counter I'm gonna assume it was left there for me. I'm learning that's not the case, and I'm also learning to take treats nicely. My foster mom says that treats are the way to my heart. I'm still learning that I need to go potty outside, but I'm smart and am picking it up quickly. I love my crate and know it as my safe space. I go nicely in my crate all night and sometimes I will take a nap in my crate after playing for a while. I'm up to date on vaccines, preventatives, spayed and heartworm negative. Please come meet me in Lehighton, PA �ٴ���%90%BEby volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
