About Hunter

We have a beautiful and extremely intelligent 1 year old Belgian Malinois - German Shepherd mix. We have had him since he was 4 months old. We have worked with him a lot since we got him. We sent him for a two weeks onboarding training. We also purchased an online training course and we have watched tons of videos about how to handle this breed. We have learned how to start working on impulse control, we have a fenced backyard on our house for him to go out and do some exercise. He's always been anxious and he gets over-excited super fast. Lately we have started to see some behavioral issues, we have witnessed some signs of aggression, sometimes out of nowhere he starts running, barking, and growling inside the house, and he confronts us. Sometimes we think those are because he demands a mental stimulation that we haven't been able to fulfill. Those behaviors have progressed very fast lately and my older daughter is terrified of him now. We have considered giving him up for adoption, however when I went to my local shelter (Humane Society Green Bay, we live in Wisconsin) they told me that, with those issues they most likely would have to put him down, which we obviously opposed. We really think that he needs an experienced owner (or to be on a place where they can work with him on his needs and rehabilitate him). If you guys could help me out, I would be willing to drive wherever is needed. ��%BD%A0
