About Ernie

You will immediately fall in love with Ernie. Those besutiful eyes will melt your heart. He is a loving ball of energy,very active but not destructive. He can fetch forever, but he also loves to curl up and snuggle with you. There is no shortage of kisses. Ernie was owner surrendered to BARC in January 2022. Because he appeared to be an Italian Greyhound mix, he was then released to IG Rescue/Henry's Heart. They said he is 2 years old but he acts more like a puppy. The vet agrees that he is probably younger. He is very healthy with great teeth and no issues. He is neutered and up to date on vaccinations and heartworm preventative. He is housebroken and weighs approximately 10lbs. Ernie gets along with friendly dogs and cats. He is happy in his crate when his foster leaves home, but is not crated at night. You can just tell him to get in his bed and he curls up and as long as his blankie is over his head, he sleeps through the night. His foster home has two dogs that he gets along with very well.
