About Hugo

Meet very special HUGO, our 8 year young Bull Terrier mix! HE IS THE MOST LOVING AND AFFECTIONATE DOG THAT EVER WAS! He is a handsome boy who would love a home with a fenced yard to run in - he has a lot of energy. He loves all the people he meets, loves to play ball and especially tug rope, and LOVES to give big SNUGGLES and KISSES! Hugo's forever home will require an experienced and strong owner. Hugo does not like other animals. He has been working on his reactiveness with other dogs in his foster home, and has completed one course with Applejacks K-9 Academy and received his first certificate. Hugo's new adopter will receive continued training through Applejacks. Even though his training is going very well, Hugo will need a home with no other pets and no small children. Hugo does have one health issue, there was no option for this on rescueme, but he does have a torn ACL. He has seen a vet for this and the vet did not recommend surgery at this time. Occasionally he limps and gets some pain meds but mostly he runs and lives his best life chasing toys and jumping around the yard.
