About Koko

Cute as a button, friendly, playful, and super cuddly, KoKo is a 5-year-old Chihuahua/rat terrier mix. She weighs about 11 lbs and is completely house-trained. Koko's a sweet, loving little dog, who gets along nicely with her similarly sized canine foster brother. They took a little time getting comfortable with each other but soon became best friends. Koko wants to be on your lap and give you kisses anytime you sit down. She loves to play ball and would absolutely LOVE to have a securely fenced yard in which she can entertain you with her silly antics. However, you'll need to keep an eye on her because her small size, speed, and talent for digging and chasing after small critters could lead to an unintended escape. Koko sleeps in a crate and is ready for bed at 11 pm every night. (It's hard work digging for critters.) She's learning some basic commands and is very treat motivated. Lest you think she's perfect, we're here to tell you that she does have some little quirks. She's not the world's best leash walker (hence the desire for a fenced yard) as she likes to bark at cats and anything else that moves. She's also no fan of vacuum cleaners and other noisy appliances and will tell them off in no uncertain terms. An optimist, however, might just consider this last foible an excuse to lighten up on the housework. To that, we say, 'You rock, Koko, you're our kinda girl! Down with Dustbusters!'
