About Leia

Leia was adopted from a local rescue about 5 years ago. We are unsure of her age but we are guessing she was around 2 when she was adopted. At the time of her adoption she showed extreme anxiety and would shut down often. Since we took her in (we are her second home) she has definitely come out of her shell and grown more comfortable. Unfortunately she is starting to develop aggressive tendencies towards dogs and small animals. She is very nervous around men and small children. She has never shown aggression towards children but we have also never given her the chance to spend much time around them due to nervousness. Leia is not kennel trained and she is very kennel aggressive when other dogs are around. She will become destructive if left alone in a crate or kennel. We are looking for someone who works from home or is home most of the day that can be with her and help ease her anxiety. We would prefer her to be the only pet in the home.
