About Haley

Haley is an extremely shy 10 month old, 11 pound Rat Terrier/Chihuahua (best guess) girl who frightens very easily. If Haley gets scared, you need to control the situation, diffuse her fear so she doesn't she act out. She is a typical active Rat terrier mix that can be a bit snarky. She is looking for an adopter that understands the terrier/Chihuahua temperament. After a few days of being in her foster home Haley has shown just how loving she is. Once she trusts you she will give you endless kisses and curl up on your lap. Haley sleeps all night snuggled in bed with her foster Mom and Dad. She has no concept of personal space. She just wants to be with you. Haley also has a playful side to her. She enjoys playing with the other small dogs in her foster home and running around the yard. She also likes soft stuffed squeaky toys to play with. She is quite entertaining. Haley requires an ADULT only household. NO KIDS. She would also benefit with having another small dog in her home as she adores the other small dogs in her foster home. Big dogs not so much. A small dog secure FENCED yard is a must for her as she is currently frightened of a leash. This will improve over time as long as you continue to work with her. She is not a good fit for an apartment or condo. Haley is house and potty pad trained. She is also spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea prevention. If you have the love and patience to give to Haley then she promises to repay you with endless love and devotion for life. She just wants to be loved. Haley's adoption fee is $380.
