About Leo

I rescued Leo in August from a shelter. He was arriving as I was walking out. He was extremely sick with parvo and was about to be euthanized if he didn't have an immediate home. After two hospital stays and a lot of rest at home, he has fully recuperated and full of life. Because he was found sitting next to a cat, I thought he would be ok with my kitty. Unfortunately, the house is a battlefield if the cat even sees Leo. Leo has never been aggressive with the cat, but he does approach to play, and the cat is not having it. I need to rehome him. He is young, extremely affectionate (loves to give kisses, sit on your lap, cuddle on the couch, and take naps with you). He enjoys playing with his many toys, running in the yard, and is learning to walk on a leash. He has mastered some basic commands (sit and wait) and is learning others. He is not aggressive at all, and accepts redirection and training. He loves all people he has met (even the nurse at the vet during the second hospital stay). He is headed to the vet tomorrow (9/16) for full vaccinations and will be neutered soon after. He is a wonderful animal and I am praying to find him a loving home. This is literally his second chance at the life he almost lost. I know there is a reason I met him and was able to help him pull through. Please consider this animal as your new bestie.
