About Rex

Rex: 5 mth old black & tan male, neutered, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 7 lb. Fully vetted. Rescued from shelter. 'Hi I'm Rex. My story starts when I was 8 weeks old. My owners were driving down the road when they just up and threw me out the window of the moving vehicle. I was lucky that a nice person saw this and stopped and picked me up off the road and took me to a vet. I weighed just over 3 pounds. Lucky for me, I was OK, but I ended up in the local animal shelter since the nice person who helped me didn't know who my owners were. I wasn't too anxious to go back there either. The next time they decided to hurt me I might not be so lucky! Well, the shelter is a pretty scary place even though I didn't have to be there for very long. The shelter called an IMPS volunteer who came right away and picked me up. My foster mom just loves me! She says I'm potty pad trained, and I can use the doggy door to go outside to do my business. I am still so small I can fit through the slats in the pet gates, so I've got to have a very secure home, or I can get out and into trouble. My foster mom says I'm just the happiest most outgoing boy she's ever had. She loves how happy and silly I am. As you can see by this video, I love to play. I'll need a home with a yard, no small children, since I'm still small. I'm available to adopters in California, or in an adjacent state. I'm about 5 months old now and weigh 7 pounds even.
