About Cera

Cera was found tied to a fence behind the shelter, out of sight, on a sweltering day without shade. We have no idea how long she had been there before a volunteer found her. She was thirsty, scared but so sweet. Cera has been unsure of her new surroundings but it's clear the shelter is a step up for her. She came in with some injuries around her neck. An attack or some kind of awful collar we don't know. It is always heartbreaking to see dogs dumped-especially momma dogs. And especially when they seem to have not had a great life. But she is making amazing progress in becoming more playful and has done great meeting new people. She hasn't lost her sweet nature and we can see her really doing well in a loving home!
