About Joy

Adoption Fee: $350
Lab mix
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Female

Ready for a little JOY in your life?! Joy is here and ready to find love. Joy is a 2 year old, lab mix that weighs 56 lbs. She is working on her leash skills as she gets excited. When alone, she's content to wander the yard as a low energy dog. See her energy bursts when she finds a K9 friend! Joy loves to play with her friends and can be a harder play, so no submissive or elderly dogs please! Joy takes food and treats so gentle. She's great with kids as long as they're used to big, goofy pups! Joy was tested off leash with cats in AL without any issues! Joy appears house and crate trained. She is spayed, current with vaccines, and fostered in Harrisburg, PA We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at www.pack9rescue.org. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. We are an all-volunteer organization, and we are always looking for more help. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at www.pack9rescue.org or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption. Saturday, October 22, 2022, PA Caring for K9's will be at Puppy Love Dog Grooming in Middletown, PA from 10am-2pm with some of our adoptable dogs! Please check our Facebook page closer to the event as we will update daily with dogs who will be attending. All are invited to meet our dogs, but only pre-approved adopters with all household humans and dogs present will be able to adopt at the event. Apply today at https://www.pack9rescue.org/applications/ to become pre-approved.
