About Gibbs

Gibbs is one of the 4 'border dogs' that were transported from Texas to Florida and accepted into our rescue. We are unsure of the details, but it appears they were abandoned and were being fed by reporters. Upon arrival at the rescue they were pampered with baths and lots of love and did extremely well during grooming sessions! During the baths we discovered maggots, fleas, ticks, hotspots, tapeworms and other parasites that I'm sure are not visible! They love their soft, clean beds and enter their new spaces by themselves. These are truly special dogs! During their evaluations we have found them to be well mannered and very friendly. They've had vet appointments and they are now on the road to be healthy, with clear treatment plans and are ready for adoption! Gibbs weighs 33 lbs. His treatment plan includes the removal of his left eye and his tail. Age appropriate vaccinations and spay/ neuter included in adoption fee.
