LOCATION: Olympia, Washington DOB: 08/27/2018 (Estimate) Are you looking for a sweet cuddle bug to be your best friend? Do you want a friend to go on adventures and walks with you? Look no more! I'm the guy for you. I'm what they call a perfect starter Dane. I'm well behaved, smart, calm, happy and loving. I get along great with other dogs, cats and even ducks. I have a large Great Dane foster brother and 3 tiny foster dog sisters. I also live with a cat whom I ignore most of the time, but I'd love to chase her (to play) if she would run. My foster family also has ducks and I don't pay any attention to them - even when they chase me and try to peck my feet. I am super smart, obedient and a very quick learner. I love to please my person. I'm house trained and will go in a crate, but I prefer to curl up in a tiny ball in my bed (or yours if you let me). I can be left alone in the house and will be a very good boy - I may howl for you when you first leave, but I settle down quickly. I walk very well on a leash and I love meeting new people. I know basic commands, but I sometimes get focused on my sniff excursions in the yard and forget to listen when I'm called. My foster mom is working on that with me. I can run super fast and I'm very agile. I love to have zoomies in the yard and run fast like the wind. I am respectful of fences. I love to talk and will tell you all about my day when you get home. I'm an expert snuggler and would prefer to snuggle on the couch or bed with you, but I know I'm only allowed if invited. I love to be with my people and will follow you around the house. Before I was rescued, I was chained outside all the time and barely fed. This made me scared of wind, rain and especially thunder and lightning. I will curl up in a small ball in my comfy safe place and hide until the storm is over.
