About Copper

I'm really sad to have to do this but we have no choice. This is Copper he was born on Thanksgiving last year so roughly 10 months old. He is a Blue heeler Pitbull mix from what the people we got him from said. I wish I would have researched this breed combination before we took him home. Copper is a good boy, he comes when you call him, he loves to play, he knows basic commands but is still working on them. He just has so much energy. We walk him and play with him but I just don't think what my family is doing is enough. My son just started military academy is gone from 7am till 6pm. He is fairly good with my 1 year old just needs reminders that she is there and to relax. Another huge issue is he has stranger anxiety. He barks hair stands up and he looks like he is going to attack. I'm scared that my son's friends may get bit. This is a behavior I have never had to deal with in dogs and I'm not capable of fixing it. Is there anyone who has experience with this kind of dog and wants him. He isn't a bad dog by any means. We just aren't the right family for him. He is fixed and microchipped.
