About Male Pitbull

Dant̩ is a very sweet loving make Pitbull. He is,however,extremely high strung and needs someone who is dominate,strong, will train, and patient.I do have restrictions on his adoption to keep him safe. 1.If it ends up not being a fit for you, I will give the adoption fee back and will take him back.That is a must. He can't go to anyone else. 2.He needs to be within 1 hpur of my home. I want to be able to stop and visit to check on him and make sure he isn't sent to another place. 3.I don't want his tail cut off or ears cropped. 4.He isn't too be used for dog fighting. 5. You must be strong, patient, and kind. The only reason I'm looking for a home is because he is too strung for my girls to even take out and he is too high energy for them. He has been fine with the cats and other dogs and the children. He will go after anything outside. I don't believe he would hurt another dog but anything small outside he wants to go after. A small dog outside would probably be no different than a rabbit to him. He has shown no aggression at all, not one growl.He is not protective of his food either.He did needs someone to stand with him and give him very small amounts of food, then a drink, and I pat him on the back for a huge burp. He acts like he is starving everytime I feed him and he swallows down the food with a lot of air,not even chewing his food. The burp is huge and loud and hilarious.He grunts like a pig,and that's pretty funny too.He will go in a kennel but once you open the door he will bolt out.It's hard to leash him because all 4 legs are running in place,so you must be strong to handle him. Children are not strong enough to take him for walks or outside on a leash, but he loves children and will shower with them with kisses. He doesn't know his own size and strength,so small children shouldn't be around him. He will plow them over to kiss them. He will back at strangers when in the car. I imagine he will be a great protector of his family as he gets older. He knows his name Dant̩,very well. Dant̩ was abandoned by drug dealers, when he was no older than 3 months old, and he was sitting in the middle of the street. He would have been hit by a car and I could not leave him. He ran to his yard when I got out, but did come to me. His neighbors said his family left him behind. Looking in the open door,there were needles on the floor and the home was really nasty. He was taken care of and was healthy. I'm going to assume he would have been used to fight being the kind of home he was in.I know my expectations are high and probably nobody will want to take him with them, but I thought I would try. I work nights and it's difficult to sleep in the day when I have to take care of him but I'll continue to do that if he can't find the right home. If you are looking for a high every,loving male pit bull, willing to not remove any of his body parts, and allow me to check in on him, then you just might be the right doggy parent for him. Also, he needs to be taken out to potty/poop every hour,or he will leave a lot of potty on the floor.He won't potty in his kennel though.
