Meet Charles Fantastic dog alert! Charles is a wonderful dog. We rescued him from a high kill shelter. He's been a joy since arriving. Charles is 1.7 years old. He is a sweet and friendly dog. Charles is thought to be a Boxer/Labrador mix or a Boxer/ hound mix. Charles is a medium size dog, weighing 44 lbs. He has a soft red and white coat and beautiful eyes. He has happy and a calm demeanor with good energy. Charles loves being with people. He is a social boy always up for adventure. He loves walking and playing in the yard. A fenced yard will be a must so he can play safely. He likes other dogs. We'll test for kitties. Charles is a shelter favorite. He's always so happy to be shown attention. His tail wags constantly and he loves giving doggie kisses. Charles is going to make for a wonderful family member and loyal companion. If looking for a slightly older puppy, with a great personality and debonair good-looks, Charles may be the one. All adopters must complete an approval process which involves a reference check with current/recent vet and a brief home visit if located in the immediate area. We do permit out of state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are primarily owner relinquished and also accepted from local Animal Control. The facility usually is operating at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
