About Daisy Dane

Adopt Daisy Dane! Daisy is a beautiful 6 year old Fawn Great Dane in search of her Forever Home! Daisy is currently located in Oklahoma, but we ADOPT NATIONWIDE - DELIVER NATIONWIDE or allow Pick-ups! Don't let your location be a deterrent! She is healthy, as sweet as they come & is absolutely amazing with most any dog - small yappy, screeching dogs - they make her very anxious and uncomfortable. She stands back from new dogs at first but once she knows they are safe she is all love and play! Daisy is fearful of storms - she just wants to be near you if it is thundering. She is NOT destructive in any way. Daisy loves to lean in for attention, give cuddles and snuggles. She loves car rides! She does have a lack of confidence to her. We are working on building confidence through training. She is learning to 'sit' and walk properly on the leash. I cannot tell you how many Danes we get like her that cannot do basic commands - but her temperament is solid, she loves people and other animals - so it isn't something we feel should hold her back. Cats: She has been okay with our 'Mouser' Bruiser, but she will play chase a bit - she does not want to harm the cat - but our boy is a rambunctious boy and still very much a kitten. I truly believe she would be fine with a cat that is dog savvy and is not running around being crazy like our boy is! Daisy enjoys young children older than toddler age. She is very child friendly but screaming, crying babies make her very anxious and uncomfortable. This girl does NOT have a mean bone in her! She truly is the epitome of a GENTLE GIANT! Daisy was surrendered because the 15 year old small dog in previous home was not doing well with her. The owner felt it better to let Daisy go to a more quite home where a small dog wouldn't be yapping or screaming at her. Daisy is fixed, up to date on all vaccines and current on all prevention. Daisy needs a home that will love her and adore her for the rest of her life! She is so deserving of this! Please open your heart and home to Daisy!
