About Jed

Jed , the best buddy to his foster, is a two year old, male, heeler mix. He can be dog selective and we aren't sure how he does with cats. Jed prefers kids to be over the age 14 and prefers men. Jed is a smart boy- he is crate and doggy door trained, and only slightly pulls when he's on a leash (he's excited) ��%BD����%BD Jed likes head pats and attention- he will take his paw and grab your hand to pet him if you aren't quick enough! Jed must have his balls, tug rope, and his pinecone. He would not do well in an apartment as naturally, he needs a hard and jobs to do. Jed is a sweet boy once he opens up to you. He needs humans to be patient and slow. He's like a cat- love attention are great while he wants it and he'll let you know when he dosen't. He will nip or head you if you take something on the ground from him- his foster is working on this. Jed 's ideal home is with someone that is patient and slow. Would you want to be rushed in a new home and strangers? He is your typical heeler- lots of energy and needs to be walked.
