5 year old Sgt Pepper pulls at all our heart strings. This sweet angel was in one of our partner shelters in Michigan after he was filmed being abused by his previous owners. The owner was charged with animal abuse and 'Peppers' was taken to Heartland for a fresh start. He has been with us for a bit now so we've gotten to know him really well, and we don't understand why our giant marshmallow is still waiting to be adopted.
