About Mandy

I am a 7 year old Husky mix, but very active for my 7 years! I have lots of energy and love long walks and playing with toys. Exercise helps me to be calm in the house. I also love to chill out on the couch. True to the Husky breed, I am very vocal. I will let you know when I'm hungry or need to go out or want to play! I will also let you know when I do NOT want to be touched. I'm a bit possessive of my toys and would not be great in a home with small children. In my ideal home, I get to be the only dog! However, I do get along with the retriever in my foster home. I am currently on Trazadone for my anxiety, which is very affordable. Vet says I can maybe go off eventually, but should probably stay on it while I acclimate to a new home to help me feel calm and safe. I walk well with a front hook harness, and I come with my own leash, harness, plastic car carrier, bed, blanket and toys. I am spayed and up-to-date on all my shots, heartworm and flea and tick meds. I was raised with older children and would do fine in a home with older kids who understand how to play with me.
