My name is Ally, I came in literally hours from dying. I was left on a chain in a backyard(people lived there just didn't even check on her) unable to reach my water and had no food in the Sweltering summer heat in South Georgia. I was so infested with fleas that I became so anemic and dehydrated I could no longer stand or hold my head up. A concerned neighbor saw her. Gave her several much needed baths and started trying to feed me. I was just stoo weak to eat or drink. I needed a blood transfusion to save my life. The lady reached out to Heather and even though well over capacity, knew that I would be dead by morning without help. She rushed me to the vet where they decided that I could have a blood transfusion because my bloodwork was still showing that I was healthy and stood a chance. After receiving blood I felt much better and started my long journey to recovery. Due to my past and being a little reactive to other dogs when I get nervous we think I should be an only spoiled girl. No cats, I think they are fun to chase! I am so very sweet to people and deserves a chance to spend my golden years in a home not at a rescue. I walk great on a leash. I am quiet and don't bark unless something is wrong.
