My son can not take care of his 7 yr old pit/lab anymore and is 'getting rid' of him. The dog lived with me all of his life but I can not care for him now. He is protective but obiendient and loving.I am 71 and just can not provide the life he needs. Please help us. Shadow does have separation anxiety.Thanks
