About Star

Oh no! Star is on the euthanasia list due to his length of stay at the shelter (he has good behavior). He must have a plan by 5:50pm on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11! 'Having a plan' means home with an adopter, home with a foster, or tagged by a rescue group! --- This little STAR has been waiting four long months at the county shelter -- nearly half his life at only 10 months old! He's dog friendly and even kenneled with another dog at this overfull shelter. There are so many wonderful black dogs here who have trouble getting noticed. Star is housetrained and loves people. He weighs 59 pounds. He may not be great with small children, as his previous family said that he 'snips' at children. This is correctable with training and as he gets out of the puppy phase! Unfortunately, he's not going to get any training while being one of 400+ dogs at the shelter.
