We have had Bear for 4 years. Unfortunately, he is no longer a good fit in our home. He was a rescue at 2 and all we know is he was bought as a puppy and out on a chain in the backyard and never went anywhere or had training. We have tried our best. He is extremely anxious and high energy. He is food and treats aggressive and have now bitten both my husband and I. He can be very reactive to other dogs. Barks a lot. But he also gets along great with our other 2 dogs. This is a very difficult decision for us. We feel we have failed him. We are hoping someone out there with more experience with schnauzers can be a better fit.
