About Anton

Meet Anton! This little guy is smart, quirky, playful, affectionate, independent at times and full of personality. He is believed to be a Chihuahua/Cattle dog mix and is approximately 6 years old and 20lbs. Anton is house and crate trained and good on leash. He is a little anxious in the car traveling but most of his travels have been to the vet so that is understandable. Anton does have some skin allergies that are managed by a vegetarian kibble and treats and a daily allergy pill. The rescue has done a full allergy test on him and would share and go over all with any potential adopter. Anton is people and dog friendly. Kitties we are not sure about but suspect he would do just fine. Although Anton can be very playful with his person, he can be a little mouthy when he gets excited. Therefore we think a home with kids 8 and up best. Anton is a fairly quiet dog and doesn't bark much at all. With larger dogs - he is friendly but just kind of just 'co- exists' with them rather than engaging in play. With dogs his size and smaller he has engaged and played with them. Anton loves to snuggle and steel pets from his person. In return he offers nice kisses.
