About Apollo

This is Apollo! He is a little over 2 years old. I found him in the middle of traffic about a year and a half ago. Never could locate owners. He has been great with my senior female dog. I do not know how he would be with other dogs. I believe he was abused in some way as he gets frightened when I sneeze and sometimes he seems scared if he believes he's in trouble. He isn't reactive about it but I suspect someone wasn't kind to him. I need to rehome ASAP sadly. My grandmother has suffered a stroke and I will be her 24/7 caregiver now. Apollo is very energetic but loves to cuddle up and relax with me when it's calm in the house. His ideal home would have a fenced in yard to run and play. I cannot risk him doing zoomies around the house now and I don't want to have to crate him all the time. I have tried to avoid having to rehome him but I don't have a choice now. He is my best bud and a love bug but I don't know how he'd be with other dogs. He loves kids and he has been great with all adults. I do not know how he would be with cats. I'm trying to avoid the shelters. Please give him a chance if you possibly can. I have a large crate I will send with him as well. He is trained to go inside and sleeps there at night.
