About Ellie

Yes, Ellie is the mama of the puppies, but she is also going to be looking for her forever home after her babies are adopted and she is spayed. She is a wonderful mama but we want her to be the baby! We want her to find a family that will baby and spoil her without her having to worry about having or taking care of more babies! She is a wonderful and beautiful husky mix with so much love to give to her future family. So far, she has shown to be very loving but has not shown more of her personality because she is focusing all of her energy on her babies. Ellie even runs to her fosters for love and attention but she doesn't like to be away from her babies for long. She has acted like she wanted to play but stopped and ran to check on the puppies. We believe she will be very playful and loving when she does start to show her personality. The rescue will require and schedule her to be fixed (as we do with all our rescues) to avoid another accidental litters. We do not adopt into homes with un-neutered/un-spayed animals.
